Harry Styles´ Gitarre um 24.000 Euro versteigert

Die Gibson-Gitarre des Pop-Stars kam am Mittwoch für einen guten Zweck unter den Hammer.

Stars wie Elton John oder auch Billie Eilish stellten ihre Instrumente zur Verfügung um damit Gutes zu tun. Die Auktion ging im kalifornischen Beverly Hills, bei Julien´s Auctions, über die Bühne.

Die rote Gibson-Gitarre von Harry Styles brachte mehr als das Neunfache des Schätzwertes - nämlich 28.125 Dollar (ca. 24.000 Euro) ein und ist natürlich persönlich signiert.

U2-Sänger Bono Vox stellte einen handgeschriebenen Songtext zur Verfügung, der für 22.000 Dollar den Besitzer wechselte.

Shooting-Star Billie Eilish spendete eine signierte Fender-Ukulele, die für etwa 8.000 Dollar ein neues Zuhause fand.

Eines der Highlights der Auktion war sicher das Verstärker-Set des früheren Rolling-Stones-Bassisten Bill Wyman, es kam für mehr als 51.000 Dollar unter den Hammer.

Corona und die Folgen

Die Einnahmen gehen an die Stiftung MusiCares der Grammy-Akademie. Sie unterstützt vor allem bedürftige und kranke Musikschaffende. Denn im heurigen Jahr sind viele KünstlerInnen von den wirtschaftlichen Folgen der Corona-Pandemie stark betroffen.
